I had the pleasure of getting to know Dee when she was briefly a member of the GA Peach Authors but resigned due to health issues. I remember sitting in the parking lot of Panera Bread one Friday evening as I talked to her for over 2 and a half hours like we had always known each other. We laughed so much. That's how I will always remember her, laughing and smiling and speaking proudly of her daughter.

She was such a sweet spirit who always, even in the midst of her health issues, had a smile on her face and a positive deposition. I spoke to Dee about two weeks ago when she reached out to me for a blurb for her upcoming novel and we started talking about her pending surgery. She was positive that things would go well and everything would work out. She talked about her daughter and asked that I continue to keep her and her family in my prayers. That was the last time I spoke to her. Life is short.

RIP Dee. God has you now. You will be missed!

GA Peach Author sister, Electa Rome ParksElecta Rome Parkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13922814084405396014noreply@blogger.com
